The Springdale Water Utilities is in the planning stages of determining a route for a proposed water Transmission line to serve the western side of the city of Springdale. The water transmission main is necessary to provide a sufficient supply of water to existing and future customers and to provide redundancy should an unexpected water outage occur. This project is being coordinated in conjunction with the construction of a western supply point by the Beaver Water District. The Springdale Water Utilities is providing this notice to solicit public input into the possible routings for a future water transmission main.
The public meetings will be held at the Springdale Water Utilities offices located at 526 Oak Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas. The schedule for meeting dates and times are as follows:
September 14th, 2021 – From 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
September 23rd, 2021 – From 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
At the meetings, the Utility will provide maps showing the possible routes for the future water transmission main along with forms for the public to provide written input, opinions, concerns or questions. For those who cannot attend the public meeting, the information below provides a map showing possible routes and a form to write any opinions, concerns or questions you may have. We ask that you limit submission of input on or before September 27, 2021.
This water main project is an important part of the future of the city of Springdale and those served. We trust in the opinions of our patrons and look forward to service in the future.
